Tembo Explorer Safaris is a Kenyan owned company located in the Ngong Hills close to Nairobi, we have recently opened an office in the UK which is managed by Joy who has spent many years travelling and working in Kenya.  We provide a personalised service for guests who prefer a more individual touch, in smaller intimate groups.  We offer a bespoke service and can arrange packages to suit your budget.  We are passionate about our Country and would like to share this passion with you.

When Tembo Explorer Safaris was founded in 2006 we wanted not only to share our love of Kenya with our guests but also to support local Communities in our areas of operations.  We recognise that in order to conserve the vast diversity of Kenya the local communities must benefit directly from Tourism.  At our camp in the Maasai Mara we pride ourselves on employing, where possible local people from the surrounding communities.  This in turn helps to give the camp a real ‘family’ feel to it.
